Barbosa Cabinets’ history of quality began in 1978 when Armand Barbosa and his two sons, Ed and Ron, decided it was time to offer unsurpassed service and old-world craftsmanship to builders and homeowners throughout Northern California.

Together, they set up their business in a small 2,500 square foot building in Tracy, California.

Within three years the business outgrew the facility. Their belief of innovation in products and attention to customers had not gone unnoticed.

By 1990, Barbosa Cabinets branched out again into a second facility to include a full-service finishing department. In 1997, a countertop division was created in a third building.

Our growth over the last several years has been phenomenal, receiving recognition in Wood and Wood Products Magazine, citing Barbosa Cabinets, Inc. as one of the fastest growing wood product manufacturers in the United States.

Currently, Barbosa Cabinets operates out of a new state-of-the-art 312,000 square foot facility.

Today, more than 200 skilled employees work together to provide cabinets and countertops to a growing list of builders, contractors and homeowners.
